The nutritionist cites a study which found that “distributing the amount of protein across several meals is more efficient than ingesting the entire nutrient at once or in two separate meals.”


“Choosing 20 grams for breakfast, 20 for lunch, 20 for an afternoon snack and 20 for dinner, for example, has been shown to be more effective than eating 80 grams of protein in just one or two meals,” explains Thaisa.
